Benchmark indices scaled fresh record high in Tuesday’s trade, which also marked the first three years of BJP’s landslide victory in general elections held in 2014. 

At 9.25 am, the BSE Sensex was trading 81.45 points or 0.27 per cent, higher at 30,403.57. The index hit an all-time high of 30,439.88 in the early session. The NSE’s barometer Nifty 50 rose 28.65 points, or 0.30 percent, to 9,474.05. The index hit its fresh record high of 9,474.45 in trade. 

“We continue with an optimistic stance on the Nifty50 and expect projected level of 9600 (target as thrown by ‘Bullish Flag’ pattern) quite soon. For Tuesday, the support zone of 9,400 – 9,377 remains unchanged,” the brokerage said in a note.
