Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 52.50 points down at 9615.75 on Monday at around 10 am (IST) on account of selling in front line blue-chip counters, while the BSE Sensex was trading 159.11 points down at 31102.95 at around the same time. 

Overall, 13 shares were trading in green in the Nifty50 index, while 38 were trading in red at around the same time.
