Idea gains over 1% after block deal

Telecom major, Idea Cellular advanced over 1% during early morning hours on Thursday’s trade after block deal. The stock has witnessed a spurt in volume by more than 5.29 times on the BSE.

The stock witnessed 63.1 lakh shares trade in 2 blocks on the BSE at Rs 90.95 per share.

Block deal is a trade, with a minimum quantity of 5 lakh shares or minimum value of Rs 5 crore, executed through a single transaction, on the special block deal window.

Idea Cellular was trading at Rs 91.55, up by Rs 0.50 or 0.55% as at 0937 hours on Thursday, on the BSE. The stock attracted a traded volume of 23,45,810 shares and traded value of Rs 2,163.54 lakh on the NSE.

Idea Cellular Ltd is currently trading at Rs 91.6, up by Rs 0.55 or 0.6% from its previous closing of Rs 91.05 on the BSE.
