Copper futures fall on low demand



Copper futures were trading lower during the noon trade in the domestic market on Tuesday as speculators reduced exposure amid easing demand in the spot market. Analysts said cutting down of positions by traders on the back of slump in demand from consuming industries in the physical markets, mainly attributed the slide in copper prices at futures trade.

At the MCX, copper futures for August 2018 contract is trading at Rs 450.65 per kg, down by 0.02 per cent, after opening at Rs 449.40, against a previous close of Rs 450.75. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 449.40
