Alphageo Gains Over 3% On ONGC Contract

The Contract Is For Provision Of 2D Seismic Data Acquisition Services In South Geleki Area Of Assam & Assam Arakan Basin.


Alphageo (India) shares rallied 3.5 percent intraday Wednesday on bagging contract from ONGC for provision of data acquisition.

The onshore integrated seismic service provider said it is in receipt of notification of award (NOA) of contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Jorhat for provision of 2D Seismic Data Acquisition services in South Geleki Area of Assam & Assam Arakan Basin.

The estimated contract value is Rs 14.45 crore, it added.

At 11:59 hours IST, the stock was quoting at Rs 461.85, up Rs 7.80, or 1.72 percent on the BSE.
