Bank Nifty index remained one of the top gainers among sectoral indices on NSE during Monday’s trade. The index gained over 200 points or 0.89% trading at 25,065 level.
The index heavyweight HDFC Bank is trading in the positive territory gaining 0.73% at Rs 1,862.50 per share. All the stocks under the Bank Nifty index are trading in the positive territory indicating a positive undertone flowing in the market.
Among the gainers were IndusInd Bank leading the charts, gaining 2.02% at Rs 1,733.65 per share, followed by Bank of Baroda gaining 1.62% at Rs 147.65 per share, Kotak Mahindra Bank up 1.39% at Rs 1,019 per share and Punjab National Bank up 1.31% at Rs 146.55 per share.
The index touched its intraday high of 25,075 level and an intraday low of 24,941 level.
