D-St Buzz: 300 stocks hit 52-week low on BSE; TCS, Tech Mahindra down 2% each, BHEL spikes

The top Nifty gainers include Sun Pharma which jumped 3 percent followed by GAIL India, Vedanta, Adani Ports and Indiabulls Housing Finance while Tech Mahindra, TCS, Bajaj Auto, HCL Tech and Bajaj Finance are the top losers.



The Indian benchmark indices continues to trade in the red with Nifty down 30 points, trading at 11,118, while the Sensex shed 92 points and is trading at 36,998.

Nifty IT has extended the morning loses, down close to 2 percent dragged by Infosys, Tata Elxsi, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL Tech and Wipro.

Selective media stocks are trading in the red led by DEN Networks, Dish TV, Hathway Cable, INOC Leisure, PVR and UFO Moviez.

From the auto space, the top losers are Bajaj Auto, Bosch, Eicher Motors, Hero Moto and Apollo Tyres.

However, PSU banks continue to surge led by IDBI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Oriental Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Union Bank of India.

From the infra space, the top gainers are BHEL, CG Power, Adani Power, Engineers India, GMR Infra, IRB Infra, NBCC, Reliance Infra and Reliance Power.

From the BSE midcap space, the top gainers are DHFL, Adani Power, Muthoot Finance, Reliance Infra, Reliance Power, Reliance Capital and GMR Infra while the top losers are Edelweiss Financial Services, GE T&D, Oberoi Realty, SAIL and NLC India.

From the BSE smallcap space, the top gainers are Delta Corp which jumped 12 percent followed by Associated Alcohol, Manappuram Finance and capital Trust while the top losers are BL Kashyap, Jet Airways, UFO Moviez, Pokarna and Bharat Wire.

India VIX is down 1.42 percent at 26.99 levels.
